At a meeting of the National Corporate Governance Committee hosted on 21.06.2010 by Bulgarian Stock Exchange - Sofia AD a decision was adopted to launch a project for calculating an index of the companies with good corporate governance.

According to the decision, the methodology and the way of index calculation will be elaborated by the Exchange and proposed to the National Corporate Governance Committee for approval. The date of launching the index will be additionally announced as it is expected to happen not earlier than at the end of the third quarter of the year. The index basis will be formed by companies selected among all those, which have declared an agreement to follow the principles of the National Corporate Governance Code.
